National Science Olympiad Mission Statement

Science Olympiad is a national non-profit organization dedicated to improving the quality of K-12 science education, increasing male, female and minority interest in science, creating a technologically-literate workforce and providing recognition for outstanding achievement by both students and teachers.  These goals are achieved by participating in Science Olympiad tournaments and non-competitive events, incorporating Science Olympiad into classroom curriculum and attending teacher training institutes.

TP Coordinator Message

TPHS Science Olympiad is a student-and-parent run club that welcomes bright and high-achieving individuals that may be interested in pursuing a STEM related career in the future. During the school year, students learn about different topics that would otherwise be unavailable to them in school, helping build teamwork skills, lifelong friendships, and knowledge and experience in a wide variety of subjects. With over 20 events to choose from, including study, lab-testing, and building events, there will definitely be topics that pique your interest and help you discover if a career in STEM might be perfect for you!
